If you’re going to Toronto, there’s more to do than hang off a building, go to the aquarium, and drink Canadian beer. Although, in Canada you can drink Canadian beer along with everything you do. Next to the CN Tower is the Rogers Centre, home of the Toronto Blue Jays. But, it’s not just the home of the Blue Jays (yes, the Blue Jays are a real major league baseball team).

The Rogers Centre hosts concerts. This summer they will have Ed Sheeran, Mumford & Sons, Chris Stapleton, Noah Kahan, The Foo Fighters, BTS and many more. In addition to baseball and music, the Rogers Centre also hosts other sports, comedy, and theatre. The city itself host festivals every weekend throughout the summer.

Canadian’s like hockey so much that they even let women play and this year, boy were they happy when the Montreal Victorie won the championship Walters Cup over the Ottawa Charge. I know how much the Canadians loved this because I was in an AirBNB down the street from a bar in Toronto that was open to the street and I’ve never heard that many people be that excited about anything! Every minute or two I could hear what sounded like a thousand people cheering.
If you go to Toronto, or any Canadian city, in the winter you’ve got to go to a hockey game. They like hockey like Americans like football, and like the rest of the world loves soccer/football. There’s nothing like celebrating with fans even if you’re just learning the game.
This concludes my posts about Toronto. Feel free to message with specific questions.
Have a great Wednesday and thank for reading! Next up, Vermont. ~Phil
